Massage was my first foray into healing when I enrolled onto a massage course to occupy my spare time when I gave up work. I was stunned to find that not only did I love doing massage, I felt that an elusive and healing 'something' was happening to my clients at a far deeper level that I had ever expected.

The physical effects of massage are well documented : increased blood circulation nourishing the tissues; elimination of toxins; improving the condition of the skin; cell regeneration etc. etc. but massage allows the whole body to relax.

This relaxation has profound effects. I believe that true, deep relaxation allows you to really get in touch with yourself in a way that we never normally have time to do in this frenetic world. I believe that this is where true healing of our mind, body and spirit really begins.

I am trained in Sports Massage and have the Myofascial training to help with muscular aches and pains. Each session is tailored to your requirements but for general stress-related issues are broadly based on the following:

Indian Head Massage

A deeply relaxing yet refreshing treatment, Indian Head Massage incorporates the upper back as well as the shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face. Offering all the benefits of massage, it has been known to lessen the duration and frequency of migraines and other stress headaches. It is a wonderful therapy that has the ability to create a sense of calm that is ideal for stress-related issues.

Back, Neck and Shoulders

Ideal for aches and pains and de-stressing from life's strains.

Hot Stone Body Massage

Very therapeutic! A wonderful Ayurvedic treat; soothing, healing and restorative. Ayurveda seeks to heal the fragmentation and disorder of the mind-body complex and restore wholeness and harmony. The heat combined with massage makes it doubly effective for that feel-good factor at any time of the year.

Natural Lift Facial Massage

Helps to tone the facial area by working on the stresses held in the underlying muscles and tissues. Natural oils chosen for their nourishing properties are massaged to the upper chest and facial area to lift and smooth. Traditional acupressure points are stimulated to encourage the balance and flow of chi in the whole body, promoting a sense of well-being.

Please note: It is always advisable to allow time in your schedule to relax after a treatment, to maximise the benefits. It is also advisable to drink plenty of water and avoid heavy meals.

Hours: Weekdays from 9.30 and includes 'tea-time' slots; ideal for popping in on the way home from work. Occasionally I designate a 'Treatment Sunday' so 'like' my Facebook page to hear updates of when they may be.
